About me

Hi! I’m Eve 👋

I am a highly specialist speech and language therapist. I am passionate about increasing understanding about different neurotypes and promoting neuroaffirmative practice.

I have a wealth of experience working with children and adults with speech, language, communication, and mental health needs, in both independent practice and the NHS. I am skilled in completing assessments, providing therapeutic interventions, and delivering training.

I have worked in a range of multi-disciplinary autism and ADHD diagnostic teams. I am experienced in working with people with complex presentations, such as cooccurring conditions (like AuDHD), early childhood trauma, selective mutism, and learning difficulties.

I have extensive experience in ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder), including offering 1:1 support, running parent and carer groups and delivering training to professionals. I independently established the ARFID pathway of care within a CAMHS setting. I am keen to raise awareness about avoidant restrictive eating and increase access to appropriate support through my website arfidadvice.com.

I currently work within the NHS in a parent infant mental health service, and lecture in a local university on ADHD and autism, as well as running my private practice. I am also on the committee for a national CEN (clinical excellence network) in autism and neurodevelopmental conditions, and volunteer for a local SEND charity.

I have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and a post graduate certificate in Autism. I am registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and am a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
